I brought my car in to have my headlight bulb changed, so also went ahead and asked for a change of oil and tire rotation. When I dropped the car off, the serviceman stated that the headlight could cost me around $40 because the labor on my vehicle could be difficult. My car is 9 years old, and so I was aware my car was slightly more difficult than the norm, so agreed and left my car. The man did not originally take my name or number but when I asked if he needed it, he had me write it on a scratch piece of paper, which I thought was peculiar for this newer establishment. Upon picking up my car several hours later, the same serviceman reported that the change of oil and tire rotation were completed, but the headlight was too hard to do, and recommended I take it to a dealership (that he would have to take off the entire front). I was disappointed that I did not get a phone call to report this first - I paid around $7O for the oil change and tire rotation, which I probably wouldn't have done had I been called to be informed about the headlight not being able to be done. Plus, although I've only had to have the headlight changed twice before, I've never had to have a dealership do the job. Two days later, I dropped off my car at Fastlane, just a mile and half down the road. Within an hour, they had called to let me know it was completed. When I picked it up and thanked the man for taking care of it so swiftly, with no prompting, he stated it was an easy job, and I was charged $21. I work for the school district in McKinney and wouldn't recommend this place to my colleagues. Pricey and not proficient in the services they provide nor in their customer service. Update 1-21-2018: I am changing my rating from one star to 4 stars because the owner reached out to me and after a reasonable conversation, he was up front and honest about his disappointment with his employee's customer service. He was very accommodating and refunded the money I paid for the oil change and tire rotation and above that, he sent me a gift card towards any future service. Fully aware that not every business pays attention to customer satisfaction, I was very appreciative and impressed with the response. Worth a second a chance.
